Scholarship Fund Goal
The goal of the fund is to support Arab-American youth to join the program and learn Arab and Eastern-Mediterranean music in an orchestral setting.
The Fund supports Arab-American youth from all backgrounds to study and perform Arab music in an interactive group environment, learning from a line-up of award-winning artists, placing the highest priority on new immigrants.

The orchestra brings the youth closer to the roots of Arab music in both traditional and non-traditional formats. It is a space where they build their character, meet other peers, appreciate and play Arab music and develop the skills they will need to become future leaders in their fields.

While the Orchestra Program is open to all members of the community regardless of their background, race or national origin, the goal of this scholarship is to empower and engage the Arab-American community as an under-represented community of color, giving it a better access to music education.
