Registration Fee: $35/ person

Class Menue: Middle Eastern Mazza (Appetizers)
Stuffed Eggplant and Zucchini (vegan, vegetarian): one of the delicacies of the middle eastern appetizers, cored eggplants and zucchinis stuffed with rice, vegetables and nuts in a savory sauce. You will learn how to core eggplants and zucchinis and leave with a corer as a gift from CAC!
Muhammara: from the northern city of Aleppo, Syria comes this spicy dish. A mix of all healthy ingredients that makes a great appetizer or a dip for your parties and gatherings. You can adjusted from mild to extra spicy and color your banquet with a red jewel.
Baba Gannuj: when you grill an eggplant on open flame then mix that flavor with yogurt, tahini, garlic and lemon. Do I need to say more! This dish will make the top of your appetizer/dip list every week.

What to Expect?
To have fun, to Cook and taste savory recipes.
You will have “Hands on” experience with dedicated attention from our chef and staff and leave with recipes that you can make at home and share with your family and loved ones.
You will be provided with all tools and ingredients. Just bring your smile, curiosity and appetite.

How Much Cooking Experience Do You Need?
Whether you are a beginner or a pro-chef the CAC Cooking classes are right for you. You will get enough attention to do it right even if you never cooked in your life!
Ingredients Matters!
The Chef will teach you in depth about ingredients, what substitutions can be made, and what brings out the best flavors.
No need to travel overseas to bring those ingredients! The chef will tell you were you can find them and the approximate budget for every recipe.

Why CAC Cooking Classes?
While there are so many cooking classes out there and probably a million YouTube videos in many languages, the CAC cooking classes offer you a unique comprehensive experience to better understand the difference between what is authentic and what is “out there”.
It makes all the difference to learn from some-one who knows how a recipe should taste like and give you a mastered steps to make it right every time!

About The Chef!
Majd Karkour helped establish the CAC cooking class program and he is a volunteer at CAC. Majd is a practicing clinical pharmacist and cooking and poetry are his passion. Students usually enjoy a scientific kick here and there that explains what makes a traditional ingredient a crucial part in the success of a recipe.
